Hello, everyone! Sorry that I
haven't posted anything in the last few months. This time, I want to share
about my experience attending Java Jazz Festival. It's one of the most
prestigious jazz festivals in the world. And this year... It was my first time
attending the show. And to be honest, I actually came to the festival just to
watch Nathan Hartono's live performance! I know there's a Christina Perri live
show too at the same time with Nathan's, but I chose Nathan without any hesitation. He's a talented and awesome Singaporean singer. I've already heard
his name from the "NOTE 4 HARMONI SCTV" event. But, I officially
became his fanboy after his live performance at Central Park Jakarta.
Okay... Back to the show, I
arrived at the venue on 3.00 p.m just to do some kind of
"observation". I felt like I need to know about the venue condition,
the hall location, etc. After waiting for 4 hours, I finally started queuing in front of B2
Garuda Indonesia Hall, just to secure my spot to get the BEST view. Yes, THE BEST.
While queuing, I met some of Nathan's fans. We got to know each other. Most of
them watched Nathan's performance at Central Park too.
Then.. Approximately 15 minutes
before the show, they finally opened the gate! We RUN as fast as we could to
get the BEST view, and... We made it! We were on the first row! Yeah! We're so
excited! Nathan finally came out and started to sing. I enjoyed it so much!
My
favorite performance was Uptown Funk. He even do some dance when he performed
this song. Oh. He introduced us his new single too. The title of the track is
"Pasti Ada JawabNya". It was composed by Andi Rianto. I should
memorize the lyrics as soon as possible so I could upload my singing cover for
this song! Anyway, I love his Indonesian accent. It's so cute and adorable! ^^ Below
are some of the performances that I recorded:
I'm so glad that I recorded it,
so I can hit the replay button as much as I want to relive the moment.
After the show ended, we waited in
the front of the hall to take some pictures with him. Gosh, he's really humble
and kind to his fans! Please stay humble when you're getting more popular in
the future, Nat! ^^ I'm really looking for his next live performance in
Jakarta! Or.. A fan meeting, please? Please come back soon, Nathan!
